Buying too much clothes?

We are surrounded by numerous shops, and it is hard to get away with it. But here are a few steps to prevent you from buying clothes you do not truly love.

Step #1: Take everything you want

The first step is to take everything you think you’d love. Providing more time with it will help you determine whether it’s just cute at first glance (which is always the case) or if you really want the item.

Step #2: Try it on

This is a very crucial step, and I highly recommend that you do not skip this part.

ALWAYS try on the piece before purchasing it. The clothes might look good on the rack, but there’s a higher chance that it might not fit you right or it doesn’t look the way you envisioned it to be.

So take the time to try it on.

Step #3: Think twice

Lastly, have a second thought.

  • Does the clothing fit me?
  • Can I pair it with the clothes I already own?
  • Is it comfortable?
  • Is it a high quality good?

I swear, you’d expect yourself saving a ton of money and closet space if you do this.

Shopping can be a way of relaxation to some of us. It makes us feel good to see new trends and new styles to experiment with.

But we should also be smart with our purchases by following these three steps:

  1. Take everything you want
  2. Try it on
  3. Think twice

Expect yourself to be saving more money and closet space in just months!
