3 Effective Habits Before Starting Your Morning Routine

If you want to have a productive day, start your morning by doing these three steps.

Write Your Journal

The best way to start your morning is to be grateful.

Instead of checking your Instagram feed and envy the people you follow, you can think of the things that you are thankful for. This way, you can start the day in a more positive note.

Have your own gratitude journal or you can have a little gratitude corner on your planner if you have one.

If you still don’t have any of those, I highly encourage you to get a simple notebook and make it your personal gratitude journal.

Fix Your Bed

If you’ve seen my “3 Habits to Stay Organized” blog, you’ll know that fixing your bed makes you go out of bed and start your morning routine.

An important aspect of keeping yourself awake is by fixing your bed because it allows you to move your body.

It will also prevent yourself from lying down because we all know that it is a handful to continuously fix our bed throughout the day.

Plan Your Day

Of course, to be productive, you must have a plan.

Instead of thinking about what to do every single time, you can allot the morning to organize your agenda for the day and just follow what you have written.

Starting the day can be hard for most of us. But if you have the courage to follow these 3 steps:

  • Write your journal
  • Fix your bed
  • Plan your day
