But you might be wondering why you need to do these 3 habits. Here’s why.
Fix your bed as soon as you wake up
As soon as you wake up, don’t even try to open your apps and start fixing your bed. That way, you will be energized to start your morning routine and prevent yourself from lying down the whole day.
Empty your bag every single use
According to Mari, the author of the book “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up”, you have to empty your bag every single use.
I know what you’re thinking, “But I am using the same things that are on my purse!”
The reason why Mari wants us to empty our bags is because there are a lot of stuff that is being accumulated in that purse: gum packs and wrappers, receipts and flyers handed out to you in the mall.
We thought that we only have the same stuff inside our purses, but in reality, trash is being built every single day. This is also the cause of ruining our bag after each use.
Wash the dishes in the process of cooking
Cooking can take a lot of time to do and a lot of dishes to clean.
Instead of using your phone while waiting for you chicken to boil, try to minimize your cleaning time by washing the dishes during the spare time of cooking.
I realized that I feel more relaxed while eating because I know that I wouldn’t have to do so much cleaning after having a great meal.
Cleaning can be tiring. But, having a messy place can affect our motivation to do work.
The only solution we have is lessening our cleaning process but still with completion in mind. But how do we do that? By simply following these three habits:
- Fix your bed as soon as you wake up
- Empty your bag every single use
- Wash the dishes in the process of cooking
You will be so much more productive and will not skip cleaning ever again.
